Steve Pendery

Steve Pendery is the elected Judge/Executive of Campbell County, Kentucky. He has served in that position for 10 years. The Judge/Executive is the Chief Executive Officer for the County and presides over the Fiscal Court.

Judge Pendery is also the President of Board of the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments and serves on the Bridge Builders Committee that is helping guide the replacement of the Brent Spence Bridge.

Judge Pendery has a long history of public service. Prior to his current position, he served as Mayor of the City of Ft. Thomas for nine years, and was a city councilman for six years.  He is also a businessman, serving as Chief Operating Officer of Pendery Insurance and Risk Management Group. He is an Attorney and graduate of The Ohio State University College of Law and Dennison University.

During his tenure as Judge/Executive, he has overseen the preparation and implementation of county-wide transportation and recreation plans. He led a successful effort to consolidate three emergency dispatch centers into one modern center. He engineered solutions to a major jail overcrowding problem, expanding the Campbell County Detention Center from 135 beds to 549 beds which were cost effective to build and operate. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Tri-County Economic Development Authority and works closely with leaders of Kenton and Boone Counties to accomplish regional objectives.
